Meet Dr. Eva Hrbotická, our brilliant and insanely talented chemist. Eva has been developing test strips for Precision since 1995. Her research and development lab is located in Brno, in the Czech Republic. Eva is recognized as one of the most skilled test strip developers in the world. She has a PhD in both biochemistry and analytical chemistry.

Eva has been at the leading edge of diagnostic and industrial strip development for over 40 years, having headed the laboratory of diagnostics for the largest pharmaceutical company in the Czech Republic. She met Howard while he was visiting the pharmaceutical company where she worked, and their friendship was nearly instantaneous. On a hand-shake and a leap of faith, they became business partners and haven’t looked back since.

Eva is the reason our product line is as extensive as it is today. She is the reason we are able to continually develop new strips to meet customer needs and changing market demands. When customers bring us new applications, Eva almost always has an answer before she even sees the project coming. If you ever work with us to develop a new strip or make modifications to existing strips, you’ll likely work with Eva.

One thing about Eva you’ll notice immediately: you would never know she is a chemistry mastermind because she’s extremely modest and down-to-earth. Eva isn’t one to brag or throw around her qualifications. She quietly and continually pushes Precision forward. She is incredibly kind, and although she is miles away from our home office, she knows each and every employee like her own family.

You won’t find anyone else like Eva in this world, and we consider daily how different Precision would be without her. We owe much of Precision’s success to Eva, and we are exceedingly thankful for her contributions to the company.
