Meet Scott Steffen, chemist and quality assurance director. As you’ve probably gathered by now, every team member at Precision does so much more than just one job. We are all well-versed in several aspects of the business, and have the ability to step up when needed. Scott is no exception.
Scott joined our team at the beginning of 2014, already having significant experience in the industry and having consulted for Precision in the past. He didn’t miss a beat, and immediately filled some of the holes in our team.
Scott oversees much of the day-to-day activity of the business to ensure things continue to run smoothly. He works with Eva on development projects and making some of the chemical solutions for our products. In addition, he is a phenomenal technical resource. He has the remarkable ability to answer technical questions accurately, but more importantly in understandable terms to those of us who are not chemists by trade. If you have ever called in or emailed a technical question, you have probably worked with Scott.
Scott is also our safety guy. He has years of experience working in manufacturing facilities and working with chemicals, so he knows what steps need to be taken to prevent accidents from happening. He ensures everyone is doing their job safely for an accident-free workplace.
Scott has made it possible for Howard, the owner, to focus on the bigger picture when it comes to Precision. All-in-all, Scott has helped create a more fluent workplace, and he has been a valuable addition to our team.
