Semi-Quantitative pH Test Strips

  • The pH 0-1.5 strips test strong acidic solutions in increments of 0.3, 0.5, 0.8, 1.0, & 1.5ppm.
  • Our pH 0-2.5 test strips test in steps of 0.5 pH units and are ideal for testing strong acids.
  • The pH 0-7 test strips contain three pads for testing accuracy. This strip measures in steps of 0.5 pH units, and gives results in just seconds. pH 0-7 test strips measure the entire range of acid from a pH 0.0 to a neutral pH 7.0. Please see notes below regarding how to read the results of a 3-pad test strip.
  • The pH 1-14 test strip (single pad) is a wide-range strip measuring in steps of 1.0 pH units, and give results in just seconds. Use the wide range pH 1-14 test strip (acid-base) when you have a diverse range of materials, and you are unsure what end of the spectrum you will land on. This strip has one pad for ease of reading and can be used in many different circumstances, including education, industry, cosmetics, water testing and more.
  • The pH 2-9 test strips contain three pads for testing accuracy. This strip measures in steps of 0.5 pH units, and gives results in just seconds. pH 2-9 test strips measures a wide range of both acidic and alkaline solutions. This strip can be used to test cosmetics and other acidic to weak alkaline solutions.
  • The pH 1-14 test strips (3-pad) are wide-range strips measuring in steps of 1.0 pH units, and giving results in just seconds. Use wide range pH 1-14 test strips (acid-base) when you have a diverse range of materials, and you are not sure what end of the spectrum you will land on. This strip has three pads for accuracy and can be used in many different circumstances, including education, industry, cosmetics, water testing and more. Please see notes below regarding how to read the results of a 3-pad test strip.
  • Wine pH test strips are used to test the pH of the juice prior to fermentation, but can also be used to test the pH of kombucha tea.
  • The pH 3-6 test strip is a narrow-range strip testing in increments of 0.5 pH steps. This test strip is often used for testing sushi rice or salsa and other mildly acidic to neutral pH substances.
  • The pH 4-7 test strip is used to test mildly acidic to neutral solutions in a narrow range.
  • The pH 4.5-10 test strip is a medium-range strip measuring in steps of 0.5 pH units, containing three pads for enhanced accuracy and results in just seconds. The pH 4.5-10 test strip is ideal for testing slightly acidic to slightly alkaline solutions. Please see notes below regarding how to read the results of a 3-pad test strip.
  • The narrow-range Beer pH test strip, pH 4.6-6.2, is used for testing beer mash. The pH of Yeast is best at 5.2-5.5.
  • The pH 5-9 test strip is a narrow range strip and is ideal for weak solutions, such as alkaline or rain water, measuring in steps of 1.0 pH units.
  • The pH 7-10 test strip measures neutral to mildly alkaline solutions in 0.5 pH increments. This is a narrow-range pH test strip with a broad color spectrum.
  • The pH 7-14 test strip is a base pH strip containing three pads for testing accuracy. The pH 7-14 test strip measures in increments of 0.5, and is used to test neutral to very alkaline solutions. Please see notes below regarding how to read the results of a 3-pad test strip.
  • The pH 10-13 test strip is a narrow range base indicator strip testing in increments of 0.5 pH units. This pH 10-13 test strip measures highly alkaline materials, and is a measures in smaller increments (0.5 pH units) than our pH 9-13 test strip.
  • The pH 11.5–14 test strip is used to test the pH of narrow-range solutions in increments of 11.5, 12.0, 12.5, 13.0, 13.5, & 14.0.
